Quality Manager
Job Brief:
Williams Engineering are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Southampton. You will be responsible for the Company quality processes and procedures and ensuring the products we manufacture for our Clients meet their expectations.
As Quality Manager, you will work to ensure the continuing quality of products and services and respond to our Client needs in a timely manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
You will also ensure that our staff are aware of quality requirements and drive continuous quality improvement within the Company
Responsibilities
• Manage the continual improvement of Company quality processes and procedures
• Develop positive relationships with Suppliers and Clients
• Communicate quality issues and plans internally to Staff and Management
• Collate, monitor and maintain quality objectives data and key performance information and report to Management
• Analyse data and identify trends relating to quality performance
• Resolve quality issues both internally and externally
• Manage the resolution of quality returns and maintain our non-conformance database
• Provide quality-related training internally
• Undertake periodic supplier quality audits
Required experience and knowledge
• Proven work experience in the field of Quality Management
• A background in Engineering in the Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear Industries
• Ability to collate, analyse and report quality performance metrics
• Experience of ISO9001 and AS9100 Quality Standard
• Excellent communication skills
• An ability to deliver projects and resolve queries efficiently and effectively
• Knowledge of Quality planning tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, LEAN, 5s) desirable
