Williams featured in MTC CNC Magazine
Under the title “Saintly subby invests to face future challenges” we were recently featured in an article on UK companies that were surviving despite the harsh effects of COVID-19.
The first couple of paragraphs are quoted below;
“Williams Aerospace have faced many tough challenges over the years – and weathered many a storm. As you’d expect from a company formed in the 1960 – and who’s roots go right back to The Second World War resilience is part of our company ethos.
While trying to stay away from that phrase we’ve all heard far too many times over the last few months – ‘unprecedented times’ – as a company we’ve certainly never seen anything like it in our lifetime. Fortunately for Williams, just before the pandemic struck we had just completed our long-awaited move into our new, larger premises.
This greatly expanded workshop and office space couldn’t have come at a better time – and allows us to carry on with our work in a safe, socially distanced fashion. And while there were inevitable ‘growing pains’ – including moving our specialist machinery more than once – and each time having it calibrated externally by a NAMAS approved laboratory to meet BS EN IS 9002 requirements, this was just part of what we had to do to maintain the exceptional standards our customers have come to expect from us.”
